In the last 8 years, Stephen has authored over 3000 online articles, sales copies, company web pages, book reviews and essays—on leadership, infrastructure, climate change, youth empowerment, women rights, peace & dialogue, tech and more. Several of which have been selected for awards.

In 2016, his essay on youth advocacy and leadership emerged as the winning entry for the National Youth Essay Competition, Nigeria. In 2018, he emerged second runner-up in the PeaceWriteNow essay writing competition organised by the Embassy of Ireland, Nigeria. In September 2020, Stephen was one of 3 awardees of the Africa LinkedIn Influencer Awards; in the content creator category.
